We’ve been lucky to have our Shadow Magnets carried by Lighthouse in Placerville, CA since way back. It’s a cute little shop in a small town that feels like stepping into a hidden treasure. With hardly any online presence, Lighthouse is one of those places you really have to experience in person. James, the current owner, recently shared a few photos of their display with us. The best way to understand Shadow Magnets is to interact with them in-person. Make sure to stop by and check them out if you’re ever in the area!

I have a dream. Whenever I discover a new shop that carries Shadow Magnets, I go on a “virtual visit” via Google. I’ve wandered into museum stores, toy shops, antique shops, and specialty boutiques — each one a unique reflection of its community and the people who keep it alive. From Orange Tree Imports, which has been around nearly as long as I have, to Chautauqua Institution, a vibrant arts center I only just learned about, each place feels like its own story waiting to be told.

Someday, I hope to visit all of them in person (and maybe all fifty states while I’m at it). Until then, I love getting glimpses through photos like the ones from Lighthouse. Thanks for sharing, James!

We’d also love to see how Shadow Magnets fit into your world. Snap a pic, tag us @elementstwo, or send us an email. We can’t wait to see them in their new homes.
